I love the way you’ve shown the evolution of your craft. I feel tarot is a very personal journey. No one should read tarot the same. Every one of our guides influences us to read a certain way. For myself, I don’t use “spreads” that you normally see but rather an unfolding of cards that as you say “tell a story”. That story is always unfolding. I appreciate seeing how others work with and incorporate spreads in their readings. It’s inspiring so thank you. 🙏
I try to soften the blow if it feels like it would be too much by asking them questions to prep them for what I have received for them. I guess that would be the loose part.
The fast part for me is that I can work quickly - my mind forms the story faster than I can reveal it. Over the years, I have learned to reveal it in an appropriate way that is both honest and flexible based on our discussion. This would be a post in itself, tbh.
As an add on, tho. If I have never read for someone before, like a new client I don’t know well-I will use the Celtic cross for a general overview. I am fast and loose with it, tho.
Are you really fast and loose or just listening to that intuitive guidance? 😉 some clients many not be ready for what the second round round as to offer.
Thank you! I generally don’t use “spreads” from books, I ask my guides how they should be laid out and I do that. However, in terms of lessons I post here, it provides structure to learn.
For example, a recent reading I gave to a close friend revealed to me (from guides) that the cards must be in a “V” formation with 5 cards. I go with it . I look at the cards and ask them what the relationships of the positions are. Guides tell me. I read them. There is usually a 2nd round of cards to pull to complete the story, and I intuitively do that too. In this case, it was to nestle three cards within the “V”. I read those. And the final card was drawn at the top between the two inner “V” cards, as a resolution.
Would never find that in a book, and it felt right at the time. I would love to find a way to teach this, but I do this with my guides, so 🤷♀️ dunno yet.

Yes, it is all intuitive. 🔮
